In 2022, the “Mukanranko Tourism and Recreation Center” opened its doors. The Center is located in the Santa Martha de Pucallpa Indigenous Community on the outskirts of Pucallpa on the last block of Avenida Sanez Peña. The Mukanranko Tourism and Recreation Center offers dining services and a swimming pool where you can enjoy a relaxing weekend with the whole family or with friends. The large stage is ideal for cultural events, educational events, and family celebrations. Part of the space is covered by a roof to provide protection from the sun and rain, making it ideal for both large and small events. The space also features volleyball courts and a large soccer field in the back.
Roger Bardales, a social entrepreneur, has supported the “Copa Indígena” football tournament from the very beginning – Campeonato de Fútbol Masculino y Femenino de los Pueblos Indígenas – Pucallpa' (Indigenous Cup – Men’s and Women’s Football Championship of the Indigenous Peoples), which takes place annually in Pucallpa and brings together indigenous teams from across the Ucayali region in the Peruvian Amazon. The event is not only a sporting highlight, but also an important social and cultural highlight of the season, offering indigenous communities the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas.

The event brought together hundreds of mothers, grandmothers, and great-grandmothers for the first time in a warm celebration.
